Elizabeth Ross, Physician

Dr. Elizabeth Ross is a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician who partners with her husband, Dr. Anthony Ross, a Board-Certified Dentist Anesthesiologist, to provide comprehensive medical care for children undergoing office-based dental anesthesia. She performs medical evaluations, perioperative planning, and pre-anesthesia assessments to ensure each child is thoroughly evaluated, medically optimized, and thoughtfully prepared for a safe anesthesia experience.

Originally from Michigan, Dr. Ross graduated summa cum laude from Alma College, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. During her time at Alma, she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society in recognition of her academic excellence. She went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine Degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit.

Dr. Ross completed her Family Medicine residency in Flagstaff, Arizona, where she cared for medically diverse and underserved communities throughout Northern Arizona. Through her training, she acquired extensive experience in outpatient and inpatient medicine, pediatrics, emergency medicine, and hospital-based care. In recognition of her dedication to teaching and mentorship, she received the Resident Teacher Award from the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine.

Today, Dr. Ross brings her broad clinical expertise to the specialized field of office-based dental anesthesia. She carefully reviews each patient’s medical history, identifies conditions that may influence anesthesia care, and collaborates with primary care physicians and specialists whenever additional evaluation or optimization is needed before anesthesia.

Her background in family medicine, emergency medicine, hospital medicine, and pediatrics strengthens the anesthesia team by providing additional support in perioperative medical decision-making, patient optimization, and the management of unexpected medical concerns. She works as part of the anesthesia team to help ensure children are medically prepared for a safe office-based anesthesia experience.

Together, Dr. Elizabeth Ross and Dr. Anthony Ross offer a uniquely collaborative approach that combines specialized dental anesthesiology with the comprehensive perspective of a family medicine physician. Their commitment to meticulous preparation, open communication, and personalized care gives families confidence that every aspect of their child’s health and safety has been thoughtfully considered throughout the anesthesia experience.

Outside of the office, Dr. Ross enjoys traveling with her husband, exploring new destinations, pursuing her sommelier certification, and spending time with family. She and Anthony also enjoy playing golf together—as long as the score stays unofficial, the outfits are coordinated, and there are plenty of snacks involved.
